Evernight has always been the center of F12Games. The game is still live in its legacy form, and work is now moving forward again on what comes next.
With this post, we are opening a new public update format: Developer Diaries. These updates will give players, visitors, and followers a clearer way to keep up with the renewed development effort around Evernight without turning the site into a technical changelog or an internal project log.
What Developer Diaries will cover
Future entries may touch on the rebuild, the live legacy game, design direction, technical progress, archive material, community signals, and the choices involved in carrying a long-running browser strategy game into a stronger new phase.
The goal is simple: make progress more visible, keep the public record easier to follow, and give Evernight a regular place for official development communication.
The live game continues
Evernight has not been abandoned or reduced to an archive. The existing game remains online and accessible while new work continues separately. That distinction matters. The live version preserves the game players know, while the renewed development effort gives F12Games a path toward the future.
